EVENT POLICIES

  • Events may be cancelled or rescheduled at organizer's discretion
  • Refunds for cancelled events will be processed automatically
  • Venue policies and age restrictions may apply
  • Entry may be refused for inappropriate conduct

LIABILITY

Our liability is limited to the ticket purchase price. We are not responsible for travel expenses, accommodation, or other costs related to event attendance.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS

SERVICE OVERVIEW

Magnetic Tickets offers an optional SMS service exclusively for customers who have already purchased event tickets. This transactional service allows you to receive your purchased tickets and related event updates via text message for convenient mobile access to independent film screenings and other events.

OPT-IN CONSENT PROCESS

EXPLICIT CONSENT REQUIRED: After successfully completing your ticket purchase and receiving confirmation, you will be presented with an optional post-purchase form titled “GET TICKETS BY TEXT.” By voluntarily providing your mobile phone number and clicking “SEND,” you explicitly consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to your purchased tickets from Magnetic Tickets.

AGE REQUIREMENT: You must be 18 years of age or older to consent to SMS communications. By opting in, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

VOLUNTARY SERVICE: This SMS service is entirely optional. Your ticket purchase is complete regardless of whether you choose to receive text messages. No pre-selected options require your consent.

MESSAGE TYPES & CONTENT

You will receive only transactional messages related to tickets you have already purchased. Messages are delivered by Magnetic Tickets and include:

  • Digital ticket delivery with secure access codes
  • Event confirmations and ticket verification details
  • Critical event updates (venue changes, time modifications, cancellations)
  • Entry instructions and pre-event reminders

NO PROMOTIONAL CONTENT: You will never receive marketing, promotional, or advertising messages through this service.

MESSAGE FREQUENCY & COSTS

FREQUENCY: Expect 1-3 messages per purchased event ticket. Messages are sent only when necessary for ticket delivery or critical event updates. Maximum 5 messages per event in exceptional circumstances.

COSTS: Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Magnetic Tickets does not charge fees for SMS delivery, but your carrier may apply standard messaging rates.

OPT-OUT INSTRUCTIONS

STOP: Reply STOP to any message to immediately opt out of all future SMS communications. You will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.

HELP: Reply HELP for assistance or contact our support team directly.

CARRIER INFORMATION

SUPPORTED CARRIERS: Available on all major U.S. wireless carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and most regional carriers.

DELIVERY DISCLAIMER: Message delivery times may vary and are not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed or blocked by carrier policies, network conditions, or device settings. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
